Multiple Intelligences
I anticipate this is not a subject of my knowledge. All I can do is to advance a set of blur thoughts and biases. I must then state that, in my view, the multiple intelligences theory is a rather limited conception about the way in which the human mind works. It insists in a nineteenth-century attitude whose main point is that the brain is a mechanism that hardly integrates its parts. Thus, on the one hand, there is a separate category (part) of the brain that takes care of the so-called musical intelligence, another for the visual-spacial capability, another more which is involved with kinesthetic skills, and so on, for an altogether of eight "different" intelligences. And, on the other hand, there is an underlining posture in this conception that aims to provide "scientific" elements to measure intelligence by the means of IQs. (To be continued)
